June 2011 IPS has been named the Best Information Security VAR by the 2011 SC Magazine Awards Canada. The 2011 SC Awards Canada honours the achievements of IT security companies and associated professionals striving to safeguard businesses, their customers and critical data in Canada. The 2011 SC Awards Canada are open to all information security vendors, service providers and professionals whose work is conducted in Canada. This year’s were announced on Tuesday, June 14th at 2011 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center, in conjunction with the annual SC Congress Canada Data Security Conference & Expo.
IPS was selected as the Best Information Security VAR based on a number of key criteria including security, risk and compliance management expertise, sales growth, as well as their ability to integrate overall technical knowledge, customer support and overall business knowledge to meet customers’ information security needs. To be selected as the recipient of this award, IPS also needed to demonstrate their abilities to uncover new market opportunities and keep up with the latest developments in all their solution portfolios. The judges also evaluated IPS’ ability to provide helpful resources to customers and prospects, as well as show them how to deploy and maintain the technologies in their portfolio to best protect critical information assets.
