INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE (ISR)

DESCRIPTION:
IPS, a leading provider of network, security and compliance services, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. We are looking for experienced individuals who are interested in future career advancement within our growing organization. LOCATIONS:
• Vancouver, BC
• Some travel may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The primary responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative are cold calling, lead generation and business development.
• Pro-actively hunt for target organizations and establish communications with those businesses that can benefit from our Company’s services.
• Further develop multi-tier relationships to organically grow existing accounts.
• Build referral and lead generation network.
• Responding to and processing incoming calls and orders.
• Lead generation, networking and setting up appointments with Account Executives.
• Maintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new products.
• Providing quote pricing and follow-up.
• Providing basic technical support on products, ongoing certification process
• Consult with dedicated customers and utilize our Technical team in helping customers overcome their business problems.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with venders.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Passion for sales.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor Degree or College Diploma.
• 1-3 years relevant experience in a similar industry.
• Comfortable making 100-200 phone calls per day.
• Pro-active, self-starter with excellent organization skills.
• Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Confident dealing with middle managers through to decision makers.

WORK HOURS:
• 40 hour work week, Monday to Friday
• Since you will be covering BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario, the work day begins between 7am to 9am (PST) and finishes between 3pm and 5pm (PST). This will vary depending on which regional locations you will be calling that day.
